Intramural/Recreation Sports Mission
The Intramurals Office of Daniel Webster College offers
activities and opportunities for students to compete against their
peers in a friendly and structured environment. Through team
sports, individual/dual activities or special events, individuals
can find the activities that fit their needs. It is our utmost goal
to stress the fundamentals of sportsmanship and fair play to
promote a more enjoyable and memorable experience for our students
while on the campus of Daniel Webster College.

Intramural Office Goals
It is the intent of the Intramurals Program to provide sport and
recreation opportunities to the students, faculty, and staff within
the Daniel Webster College campus. It is our desire that every
individual participant in the DWC Intramural Program benefit in the
following ways:
1. Improving their individual physical and mental health through
the joy of participation in recreational activities.
2. Learning the skills and establishing the habit of participating
in a variety of enjoyable physical activities that will continue
after graduating from Daniel Webster College.
3. Making social contacts and developing friendships and
camaraderie with other members of the DWC community through active
participation of events offered.
4. Developing a sense of teamwork and group spirit that results
from participation in recreational activities.
5. Facilitate the development of leadership and teamwork
capabilities of each participant.
Intramural Policies
Dates, times for activities, and sign-ups: Are
updated regularly on this webpage. Information can be obtained
either through this page or through the Director of Intramurals,
located in the upper level of Vagge Gymnasium.
Team deposits: Will be refunded upon successful
completion of the participated activity, provided no forfeits are
charged to a team. Deposits are due no later than respective
Captains' Meeting dates. There are no exceptions.
Individual sign ups: Are permitted and welcomed
for team activities and those individuals are placed on an existing
roster.
Assumption of Risk Forms: Must be signed prior to
any permissible activity by a student.
Any and all questions: May be sent to the
intramurals coordinator.
Rosters: Must be filled out COMPLETELY in order to
be eligible to enter into an intramural league. Team's that submit
incomplete information will be declared ineligible for competition.
Forms may be emailed or dropped off at the Intramural Office -
Upper Level of Vagge Gymnasium.
Team Names: Are subject to change if deemed
inappropriate by the Department of Athletics.
Sign-Up Forms: May be emailed to the intramurals
coordinator or dropped off at the Intramural Office - Upper Level
of Vagge Gymnasium.
