Athletics: Lang, Kelly Honored With College DSA Awards
Two Daniel Webster College student-athletes were recently honored with the College’s annual “Distinguished Service Award” (DSA). The awards ceremony took place in the College’s ERC Gallery.
Honorees included junior field hockey player Melissa Kelly of Hill, N.H. and senior women’s basketball and cross country athlete Kacie Lang of Raymond, N.H.

19 Eagles Named to Fall 2011 Dean’s and President’s List
19 Daniel Webster College spring student-athletes have been recently named to the College’s Dean’s List it was announced today. Nine of the 19 were named President’s List honorees.

Athletics: DWC Appoints Atkinson Head Coach of Field Hockey, Women's Lacrosse Programs
The Daniel Webster College department of athletics has announced the promotion of Karen Atkinson to head coach of the Eagles field hockey and women’s lacrosse programs. The announcement was made by DWC Director of Athletics Robin Seidman.

The Anna Maria field hockey team defeated Daniel Webster 5-3 in New England Collegiate Conference action tonight at AMCAT field. With the win Anna Maria moves to 6-10 (3-2 NECC) on the year while Daniel Webster drops to 4-8 (2-3 NECC).

The Daniel Webster field hockey team pushed Wheelock College to overtime, but fell just 37 seconds into the extra session, 2-1 in a matchup of NECC foes Satuday at Harvey Woods Field.

Sophomore Shelby Mortin notched a goal and assist and set up the go-ahead score with in the 30th minute helping Daniel Webster past Bay Path, 3-1 in a New England Collegiate Conference field hockey matchup Saturday.

In the first match ever between the programs, Ali Chapman recorded the eighth hat trick in the program’s 14-year history as Eastern Connecticut snapped a seven game losing streak with an 8-0 victory over Daniel Webster.

Sophomore Shelby Mortin converted on a penalty corner off a Samantha Bark pass four minutes into overtime, giving the Eagles a 3-2 victory over host Colby-Sawyer Wednesday in the first meeting between the programs.

Athletics: Waller, Adinolfo Named Student-Athletes Of Year Headlining DWC Annual Awards Night
Senior Amy Waller of Berlin, Mass. (Tahanto HS) and sophomore Josh Adinolfo of Manchester, N.H. (Governor Dummer Academy) were recently honored as the male and female Student-Athletes of the Year respectively, headlining the annual Daniel Webster College Athletics Awards Night ceremony on Thursday, May 3rd in the Collings Auditorium on the College campus.
