19 Eagles Named to Fall 2011 Dean’s and President’s List
19 Daniel Webster College spring student-athletes have been recently named to the College’s Dean’s List it was announced today. Nine of the 19 were named President’s List honorees.

Two Daniel Webster women’s volleyball players have earned All-Conference honors as announced by the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Monday. Junior Chelsey Crawford of Westfield, Mass. has been named to the All-Conference First Team, while senior Kate-Lynn Breault of Hudson, N.H. picked up Honorable Mention accolades as selected by the conference coaches.

The Mount Ida women’s volleyball team captured a 3-0 non-conference victory over visiting Daniel Webster College Thursday evening in Newton, Massachusetts by scores of 25-13, 25-20 and 25-21. The visitors were led by junior Chelsey Crawford with 11 kills while senior libero Amanda Wilson added 16 digs.

Daniel Webster College women’s volleyball player Chelsey Crawford of Westfield, Mass. (Westfield HS) has been named “Player of the Week” by the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC). Crawford, a junior outside hitter and middle blocker, averaged 3.20 kills and hit .321 (48 k, 14 e, 106 att) over the span of 15 sets and four matches as the Eagles went a perfect 4-0 last week to start the 2011 season.

Athletics: Doldoorian, Beauchamp, Snell Join Eagles Coaching Staff
The Daniel Webster College department of athletics has announced the additions of three staff members for the 2011-2012 season. Kirsten Doldoorian of Oxford, Mass. has been named head coach of the Women’s Cross Country program and assistant coach of women’s basketball, Nicholas Beauchamp of Lowell, Mass. has been appointed assistant coach of the men’s soccer program, and Ashley Snell of Lowell has joined the women’s volleyball program as assistant coach.

Women's Volleyball: Eagles Announce 2011 Schedule
An eight-match home slate highlights the Daniel Webster College women’s volleyball program’s 22-match 2011 regular season schedule as announced today by the DWC department of athletics. The Eagles, three-time defending NECC regular season champions, come off a best ever 18-8 campaign last season which once again included a perfect 7-0 record in NECC regular season play.

Senior Amy Waller of Berlin, Mass. (Tahanto HS) and sophomore Josh Adinolfo of Manchester, N.H. (Governor Dummer Academy) were recently honored as the male and female Student-Athletes of the Year respectively, headlining the annual Daniel Webster College Athletics Awards Night ceremony on Thursday, May 3rd in the Collings Auditorium on the College campus.
